The Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (OUTA) was formed in 2012, initially to launch a challenge to halt the introduction of Governments’ irrational e-Toll scheme (originally as the Opposition to Urban Tolling Alliance). Since then, OUTA has transformed into a larger civil action organisation whose mandate is to hold Government accountable in the event of maladministration and corrupt use of tax-payers funds.
The organisations growth from three people and an advisory committee in 2012, to over fifty staff comprising of legal experts, investigators, project managers, communications specialists and support staff by 2018.
In keeping with its quest to meet its growth demands, plus a need to ensure capacity building and succession planning, the organisation has a vacancy for an executive position titled: Executive Head of OUTA’s National Division – which has the potential of becoming a Deputy CEO position.
This is an Executive appointment and one that provides strategic leadership, direction and operational management of the National Division by ensuring that all projects and cases undertaken are managed and advanced through the respective Portfolio management and functional team structures to achieve the organisations objectives and mandate. In this position, the incumbent reports to the CEO and plays a vital supporting role to the Executive team and the Board.
