OUTA is a rapidly expanding non-profit civil action organisation, whose team works hard at challenging and holding Government and others to account for wasteful and corrupt spending of Tax-Payers money.
Due to the rapid growth of the organisation, (from three staff to 39 in little over two years), the organisation has gone through significant structural change and process adjustments, in order to keep pace with the exciting work undertaken by the OUTA team.
Naturally, with such rapid expansion comes the challenge of keeping pace with governance demands and requirements expected of the organisation. As such, the OUTA board has decided to expand it’s base of Directors. Currently, the board comprises of two Non-Executive Directors and three executive directors and the board has agreed to take the number to eight directors, with a view to have an equal split of Executive and Non-Executive Directors, one of whom will be the Non-Executive Chairperson.
This means that we seek to appoint a Non-Executive Chairperson.
A fundamental change currently being undertaken with these appointments, is the separation of the CEO and Chairperson roles, which has resided with one person during the recent expansion phase of the organisation.
