Residents' associations and community initiatives are the frontline of local government information and education. But how can you enhance communication and effectively share your community's efforts to boost membership? In this marketing masterclass, OUTA’s Masego Motsoeneng, Julia Fisher from JoburgCAN and industry expert Samantha Herman shares valuable ideas to elevate your community engagement!

One of the most expensive, time-consuming, and frustrating issues facing residents’ associations (RA’s) is development planning applications and problem properties. Three experts on the laws governing planning, common issues involving land use and construction in the communities they serve give practical advice on solutions and strategies to help RA’s navigate the complexities of development planning more effectively. The panel, hosted by JoburgCAN’s Julia Fish, consists of Gemey Abrahams (town planner), Peter Murray (director of Murray Attorneys Inc and Lawyer Specialising in Property and Planning Matters) and Rosemary Sandison, a commercial real estate professional and community representative.
