Are you ready to dive into an adventure that makes a splash in your community? September is WaterCAN Water Testing Month, and we need YOU to help protect our precious water resources!

World Water Monitoring Day is on September 18, and it's all about getting hands-on to safeguard our local water bodies. We aim to distribute 2 000 FREE water testing kits, empowering citizens like you to be water quality champions.

Water Testing Week is happening between 11 and 18 September. To participate, visit the link here and register today. We’ll deliver a free testing kit to your door.

Why should you care?

Water is life! Clean water keeps our families healthy, our communities thriving, and our environment sparkling. By testing your local water, you’re contributing to a global effort to ensure safe and clean water for all.

How can you join the fun?

Free testing kits are limited, so register now to receive yours. Once you have received it, test your local water source by following the easy-to-use instructions in your kit. And try to involve your children – it’s a fun and educational activity for all ages, while teaching children the importance of being active citizens.

After testing, share your results! Upload your findings to our website or post them on social media with the hashtag #WaterCAN2024.

During Water Testing Week (Sept 11-18), you can win cool rewards with WaterCAN’s daily themed challenges.

If you live in Gauteng, come and join us for the main event at the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens on the 18th of September. Come and enjoy live demonstrations and interactive booths and meet our WaterCAN mascot and our team!
