Despite government’s announcement in October 2022 that the e-tolls scheme has come to an end, Sanral extended the e-tolls collection contract twice last year and apparently again this year, ignoring the finance minister’s announcement in Parliament. This means that the Austrian owned collection company ETC is still trying to collect money for this failed scheme. But why is government allowing this?  Read more here.
