For many people, Parliament can feel distant from everyday life. But the decisions made, and the questions asked, inside Parliament have a direct impact on the services South Africans rely on every day.

Effective oversight helps protect public money, improve service delivery and ensure those entrusted with public power are held accountable for their decisions. When that oversight is weak, the consequences are felt in our schools, hospitals, municipalities and communities.
