Johannesburg residents are increasingly turning to solar because they need practical energy security, not more paperwork. City Power’s new approval system threatens to burden residents with added costs, delays and complexity while government systems continue to fail. OUTA believes citizens solving infrastructure problems should not be punished with excessive regulation.
