Democracy doesn't end at the ballot box. It depends on informed citizens who stay engaged and hold public representatives accountable.

As part of the ParliMeter project, OUTA, in partnership with the Parliamentary Monitoring Group (PMG) and OpenUp, is inviting South Africans to complete a public perception survey on Parliament.

The survey explores public awareness of Parliament, experiences of citizen participation, access to parliamentary information and perceptions of Parliament's oversight role. The findings will help inform recommendations to strengthen public engagement and improve access to parliamentary information.

The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete, all responses are confidential, and we'd appreciate it if you could also share it with friends, family and colleagues who care about strengthening South Africa's democracy.
