Judge Vorster finalised his judgement on the e-toll case

We have been informed by Judge Vorster’s clerk, that the judge has finalised his judgement on the e-toll case (OUTA vs SANRAL and others) earlier than expected.

Judgment will now be delivered this Thursday – 13 December 2012 at 10h00 in the North Gauteng High Court – Room 4E.

E-toll judgement a blow for society
Today’s judgement by Judge Vorster represents a very sad day for South Africa’s democracy, as it demonstrates that Government is able to railroad proper public engagement process and thereby make decisions which may not be in the best interest of society.
