OUTA press statement – Supreme Court judgement

The Opposition to Urban Tolling Alliance (OUTA) and its legal representatives are studying the judgement and a press conference will be held on Thursday morning at 11h00 (venue to be confirmed), at which OUTA's full statement in reaction to the decision will be made.

Wayne Duvenage,
OUTA Chairperson

OUTA is a proudly South African civil action organisation, that is purely crowd funded. Our work is supported by ordinary citizens who are passionate about holding government accountable and ensuring our taxes are used to the benefit of all South Africans.

OUTA’s response to the SCA judgement
In March 2012, OUTA and its co-applicants launched proceedings in the North Gauteng High Court to protect the road-using public from an unlawful and unconstitutional e-tolling scheme.
