More than 50 civil society bodies have issued a united call for stronger protection for whistleblowers exposing corruption at the University of Fort Hare.

The threats, intimidation and attacks on investigators highlight how dangerous it remains to speak out. OUTA says democracy fails when truth-tellers are left to stand alone.​
