It was formally launched on World Water Day with a webinar titled Sewage Pollution in South Africa:  A Human Rights Violation, in which experts unpacked the dire state of South Africa’s water resources, sanitation services and infrastructure. Billions of litres of untreated sewage are being released into our rivers, oceans and streets every day and webinar participants discussed possible solutions for the crisis.
