Let’s call it what it is: the SETAs have become a politically protected cesspool. Our latest findings show abuse of power, interference in appointments, unlawful dismissals, and outright bullying tactics by leadership.

And yet, staff inside are speaking up - at personal risk. OUTA is protecting those voices, investigating their reports, and building the case for reform. We’ve called on the new Minister to meet with us. We’ll keep pressing until the SETAs work for South Africans - not the politically connected.
